Within five minutes of Island's End Motel you'll find the famous Wind and Reef Restaurant. Enjoy lobster, scallops, oysters, mussels, and more while enjoying the magnificent view of the reef connecting the Gulf of St. Lawrence and the Northumberland Strait. Or visit our harbours where you can get the catch of the day at a Fish Mart...

Do you enjoy fresh clean air or natural beauty? Why not take a walk along the longest natural reef in the world and enjoy the tranquility of our sandy beaches? Or take in the breathtaking scenery of our Confederation Trail: starting in Tignish and winding throughout the small communities dotting the area, you can walk or bike and enjoy bird watching, fishing, and much more. There are benches and shelters every 2 kms along the trail if you wish to take a break and enjoy the scenery. You will find natural areas that include interpretation on bird watching, wetlands, peat bog, woodlands, wild flowers and plants.
Nearby you can also find the Bog walk, a protected peat bog that is rich with rare species of plants. Along this boardwalk you will find facts on peat bogs and their spectacular natural creation. Rest sites are also available along this trail and they provide a wealth of interesting facts on the area.
A new 9-hole golf course is within a five minute drive from the motel. Or how about trying your hand at deep sea fishing and scenic tours around the reef at Seacow Pond harbour? The Mill River Golf Course is within twenty minutes from the Motel, as well as the Mill River Fun Park for the kids!

Island's End Motel is located near Seacow Pond, close to the town of Tignish on north-western tip of Prince Edward Island on the east coast of Canada. The Island can be reached by air, by land and by water:
From the Charlottetown Airport, go straight onto the Sherwood Road. At its junction with the Malpeque Road (Highway 2), turn right, which will take you out of Charlottetown. Follow highway 2 to Tignish and then take route 12 to Seacow Pond.
From the Confederation Bridge follow the signs to Summerside. Take highway 2 to Tignish and then take route 12 to Seacow Pond.
From the Northumberland Ferry in Wood Islands, follow Highway 1 to Charlottetown. Drive straight down University Avenue onto the Malpeque Road (Highway 2). Follow highway 2 to Tignish and then take route 12 to Seacow Pond.
